It was organized in two separate sections for men and women by the Iranian Cultural Center in the Southeast Asian country.
The Blue Mosque hosted the competition on December 21-23 and the final round was held at the cultural center.
More than 30 Quran reciters from Manila and the Muslim-dominated Mindanao region took part in the Quranic event.
The three top winners in each section were awarded at the closing ceremony at the center.
