Quran Calligraphers Honored at Int'l Quran Expo

23 Quranic artists and calligraphers were honored in a ceremony at the 22nd International Holy Quran Exhibition on Monday night.

As well as calligraphers, there were artists in such fields as painting, mirror art, Moarraq (wood carving), and Taz'hib (illumination).
Hossein Matin-Reza, Zahra Namvar, Najib Ahmadi, Moslem Zare, Abbas Jalalikia, Ali Hajianpour, Seyed Esmail Sarvari and Mohsen Kiani were among the artists honored at the program.
The 22nd International Holy Quran Exhibition is underway at Tehran's Holy Defense Garden-Museum until Tuesday, July 22.
The motto of this year's exhibit is "Development of Quranic Culture with National Resolve and Jihadi Management".
