Hojat-ol-Islam Hamid Reza Limouei told IQNA that registration will continue for about a month.

He noted that the 31st edition of the competition will be held this year.

More than 4,000 mosques across the country will host the first stage of the contest.

The final round of the event will be held in the month of Azar (November-December), according to the cleric.

He also noted that like the previous year, this year’s contest is held in three sections for individual contenders, families and groups.

In addition to Quran memorization and recitation, the participants will compete in categories such as Quranic concepts, Nahj al-Balagha and Sahifeh Sajjadiyeh, he went on to say.
