Latest Quranic Works by University Scholars Presented at Tehran Int’l Quran Expo

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The head of the university section of the 29th Tehran International Quran Exhibition said presenting the latest Quranic works by university scholars is among the activities of the section.

Ehsan Khiabani told IQNA that a number of university professors have also been invited to attend the programs held in the section.

The efforts will be mainly focused on presenting the most recent achievements at universities in the field of Quran and Etrat, he stated.

The National Quran Memorization Plan, which has been prepared in line with Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei’s demand on training ten million memorizers of the Quran will also be unveiled in the university section, the official added.

The 29th edition of the Tehran International Quran Exhibition was inaugurated at the Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla (prayer hall) on Saturday evening.

The expo will run for two weeks, hosting visitors every day from 5 PM to midnight.

With the motto of “Quran, Book of Hope and Calm”, it has 45 sections set up in an area of 40,000 square meters.

The Tehran International Quran Exhibition is annually organized by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in the holy month of Ramadan.

The exhibition is aimed at promoting Quranic concepts and developing Quranic activities.

It showcases the latest Quranic achievements in the country as well as a variety of products dedicated to the promotion of the Holy Book.

In 2020 the expo was called off and in 2021 it was held virtually due to the coronavirus restrictions in the country.
