Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Reza Heshmati made the announcement in a ceremony held to honor those involved in organizing the 25th edition of the expo.
He noted that some 50 government ministries, organizations and institutions cooperated in holding the event a few months ago.
Hojat-ol-Islam Heshmati added that he would welcome views and ideas for better organizing the next edition of the Quran exhibition next year.
The international Quran exhibition, the world’s largest Quranic event, is annually held by the ministry’s Quran and Etrat deputy during the holy month of Ramadan.
Its various pavilions showcase Quranic activities and achievements as well as a variety of products dedicated to the promotion of the Quran.
This year, like the previous two years, the Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla (prayer hall) hosted the exhibition.
It started on the third day of Ramadan (May 29) with the motto of "Quran, Ethics and Life” and ran for three weeks.
Numerous exhibitions were also organized in 200 other Iranian cities concurrent with the Tehran exhibit.
