Um-ul-Kitab Quranic Plan Held in Kuwait

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Quranic plan was held in Kuwait in recent month to teach the correct way of reading Surah al-Fatiha of the Quran.

According Wikimisr website, the al-Manabr al-Quraniya Society organized the program.

Mohamed al-Shatti, deputy head of the society, said some 20,000 individuals took part in the program.

He said it was held in mosques, marketplaces and educational centers across the Arab country as well as a number of other countries.

It was the third year the plan was organized in Kuwait, he said, adding that the society is going to expand its scope.

Surah al-Fatiha is the first Surah (chapter) of the Quran. Its seven verses are a prayer for the guidance, lordship and mercy of God. It is recited by Muslims in the daily prayers.
