Malek Museum in Tehran

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Malek National Museum and Library is a museum and national library in the Iranian capital.

Hajj Hossein Malek funded the museum in Mashhad in 1908 and later moved it to Tehran. In 1937, he donated the museum in an act of Waqf (endowment) to the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine.
