Quranic Program in Kuwait Aims to Promote Islamic Culture

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Kuwaiti institute is holding a Quranic program in mosques in the Arab country with the aim of promoting the Islamic culture among families.

 

The plan, titled “Quran, Way of Life”, started in the holy month of Ramadan by Manabir Noor Quranic Institute, Ajil News reported.

According to Issa al-Zaffiri, head of the institute, it includes speeches on Quranic issues, like the miracle of the Quran, women in the Quran, and ethics in view of the Quran.

There are also short clips that aim to encourage families to learn and memorize the Quran.

The plan is held at six mosques in Farwaniya Governorate, al-Zaffiri said.

He went on to say that the institute seeks to help raise a generation of memorizers of the Quran and enhance the Islamic culture in the country.

Kuwait is an Arab country in Western Asia, situated in the northern edge of Eastern Arabia at the tip of the Persian Gulf.

Islam is the main religion in Kuwait and the majority of Kuwaiti citizens are Muslim.
