Egyptian Qari at Quran Recitation Session North of Iran
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Prominent Egyptian Qari Ahmed Shahat Ahmed Sayed attended a Quran recitation session in the northern Irania province of Mazandaran last week.
The Amir Kola grand mosque in the city of Babol played host to the Quranic program.
The Egyptian Qari recited verses from Surahs Naba, Adiyat, Qarea, and Kawthar at the session.
He has been invited to Iran to take part in Quranic programs during the holy month of Ramadan.
Every year, various Quranic programs are organized all over Iran during the month of Quran.
Ramadan is the ninth month in the Islamic Hijri calendar.
During Ramadan, Muslims all over the world fast (abstain from foods and drinks) from sunrise to sunset.
They also devote a considerable amount of time during this month to reading and contemplating the Quran.
